PALM ANGELS SS20 MEN’S COLLECTION

An underground revelation of vintage-inspired flair, set under the corridors of the Porta Venezia metro station. That’s where Francesco Ragazzi staged the runway for Palm Angels Spring-Summer 2020 Menswear show at MFW - Milan Fashion Week. The proposals came from the idea of the quirky, tropical and unexpected finds that you’d come across at any vintage store. Ragazzi made the concept of taking what’s old and renewing it again into reworked pieces for the contemporary man. An abundance of Hawaiian printed shirts, taking owe from young Leonardo DiCaprio in the classic film ‘Romeo + Juliet’, paraded down the catwalk. Along with reimagined army uniforms, tie-dye jeans, oversized parkas, quirky hoodies, shirts, even high school-inspired athletic wear. Stealing the show was the accessories: futuristic narrow single-lens sunglasses and rubber band garlands, for the finishing touches.
