The triumph of the neutral look

Neutral tones, such as creamy white, beige and brown, are back in trend with great success among the collections presented for Spring-Summer 2020. American designer Virgil Abloh, Off-White’s creative director, focused on his typical urban streetwear, with white and brown low-necked half-sleeved shirts, as well as raincoats and work trousers. The modern and elegant taste of Clare Waight Keller is reflected on Givenchy’s SS20 collection: models wore long see-through scarves, matching light brown long jackets, white tight T-shirts and sneakers in the same colour. Also worth mentioning is Ermenegildo Zegna, which presented suits with matching beige and brown patterns, elegant shoes and wool hats in all the neutral shades. It’s therefore clear how these neutral looks are the basis for the new and popular seasonal trends.
