Founded in 1966 by Michele Taddei e Renzo Zengiaro, Vicenza maison Bottega Veneta – originally, Bottega Veneta Artigiana – built its own identity on the most understated elegance, making great artisanal quality its main feature. In the 80s, after being noticed for the advertising campaign ‘When Your Own Initials Are Enough’, Bottega Veneta became one of the most popular brands among celebrities, artists and jet-setters such as Andy Warhol. In June 2006, the luxury brand revealed its first menswear collection, and today it’s the young, British designer Daniel Lee filling the position of ‘Creative Director’ of the Bottega Veneta collections.
