Internationally recognized as the ultimate ‘cool sneaker’ to have. A symbol, a statement, a real American icon without question. Converse was founded in 1908 by Marquis Mills Converse in Malden (Massachusetts). Originally known as 'Converse Rubber Shoe Company’, the brand specialized in the production of rubberized footwear. Soon after, the brand branched out, targeting mostly sports and athletic markets. Succeeding at that, with the help of Basketball Hall of Famer Charles ‘Chuck’ Taylor, Converse developed their most iconic model of shoes. A canvas sneaker with a rubber sole, named ‘Chuck Taylor All Star’. Universal and unisex, generation to generation, a legacy keeps continuing and evolving with us as one.
